Today’s Strictly was one of the most
enjoyable episodes in some time, largely due to the strength of the routines.
Some of the best dances tonight were unexpected; perhaps my favourite was Kevin
and Stacey’s street commercial routine that packed a lot of punch. I also
really enjoyed Graeme’s dance for polar opposite reasons, as it managed to
capture the elegance of the era with a perfectly contained performance to go
with it.
As ever, I tweeted along with precedings :

7:25PM: Nothing quite like a dance pagoda.7:35PM: There's a Del-Boy-and-Rodney Granddad in each of Darcey's ears, about to hammer her chandelier-earrings off.7:40PM: Someone needs to tell Tess you don't deliver the set-up to a punchline like it's the punchline.7:49M: Don't kiss her behind the hat, Kevin; you know what happened to Seann.7:52PM: There was so much detail to Stacey & Kevin's routine set against such a sparse song; very impressive.8:09PM: ...meanwhile, the guy from Homes Under the Hammer is locked out of Elstree Studios.8:19PM: Piano Man; what a song; bloody yes.8:32PM: I miss Brucie's little interjections that linked the judges' feedback; that was how to do it.
