False Advertising.

When it comes to marketing, you sometimes have to big things up. You need to make your product sound desirable. This is all well and good and par for the course – but occasionally, this thirst for a sale can lead to unnecessary exaggeration.

A caravan may be many things, but a French country house it is not. The name Château conjures up images of vineries, or forts in the midst of dramatic Swiss scenery; not a subpar mobile home sitting on a petrol station forecourt.

I guess they were trying to appeal to the aspiring middle-class. I can't see this working. A caravan is a caravan; no two ways about it. Naming it after a posh abode doesn't make it glamorous.

Château? Shat-towed, more like.
